Nutter Sports is the newest enterprise of Mark Nutter, president of Nutter Machine Company. Located in Central Ohio since 1982, Nutter Machine Company provides mechanical engineering and machine design services, custom automation and industrial machinery, and a wide variety of in-house machining and fabrication services.

A life-long interest in baseball and softball led Mark Nutter, assisted by a team of mechanical designers and master machinists, to develop the Deep Impact XP. This revolutionary warm-up and training bat uses a patented internal sliding weight mechanism to: 1) build muscle strength and muscle memory, 2) extend the arms through the strike zone, and 3) provide swing training for faster bat speed at the plate.

Deep Impact XP is available in a range of bat lengths and weights for all ages and skill levels. Useful for casual training, warm-up before the game, or even just before going to the plate, Deep Impact XP allows any player to experience ball-to-bat impact while still in the on-deck circle!
